Stakes winners continue to roll for Night Of Thunder

Hassaleh turns in an incredible performance in Listed company

Hassaleh impressed all who bore witness to her imperious victory in 7f Listed Darley Prix Amandine at Deauville on Saturday July 4th.

Under a confident Mickael Barzalona, the Charlie Appleby-trained filly raced keenly and prominently down the centre of the track. As the field hit top gear, she moved to lead before extending her advantage to take the race by a facile four lengths. She looks a grand prospect for connections and the manner of her victory suggests that her star is on the rise.

Bred by Godolphin, Hassaleh is out of dual winner Lucida (Shamardal) and is a half-sister to three winners, including Bedouin Prince (Ghaiyyath).

Night Of Thunder shows no signs of relinquishing his crown as a sire of elite performers, with Bow Echo and Ombudsman flying the flag for his brilliant dominance. Five G1 winners in 2026 put him clear of all other stallions in the world.
