Love Words, a three-year-old daughter of Blue Point, doubled her Stakes-winning tally on Sunday, 26 October when taking the Listed Premio Buontalenta. Run over a mile in Rome, the progressive filly recorded a two-and-three-quarter length triumph over Zittella (Raven’s Pass).
Now the winner of six of her 10 career starts, she had won the Listed Premio Elena e Sergio Cumani earlier this month in Milan.
Bred by Soc. Finanza Locale Consulting, Love Words is a daughter of the G3-winning Mastercraftsman mare Victoria Regina, who has produced four winners and two Stakes performers.
Blue Point has sired 25 Stakes winners including three top-flight scorers in Classic hero Rosallion, and leading sprinters Big Evs and Kind Of Blue. His current third-crop juveniles have been in excellent recent form with Samangan landing a G2 in France this month and Pearl Fortune winning a Listed race earlier this week.
