Dynamic Pricing outsprinted favored Excellent Truth in the stretch and came home with a three-quarter length victory in the G1 Just a Game Stakes at Saratoga on Friday, 6 June.
It was the second straight Graded Stakes win, and third overall, for the four-year-old daughter of Night Of Thunder. Dynamic Pricing captured the G3 Beaugay Stakes in her 2025 debut and notched a victory in the G2 Edgewood Stakes as a three-year-old.
A field of nine fillies and mares went to the post for the Just a Game, with Excellent Truth going off as the heavy favorite. Dynamic Pricing, who was off a step slow out of the starting gate, took advantage of her inside draw as she saved ground while racing well off the early pace being set by Kehoe Beach.
Kehoe Beach continued to lead down the backstretch, but jockey Dylan Davis and Dynamic Pricing had not lost touch with the frontrunner, having made up ground while still hugging the inside rail. Davis tipped Dynamic Pricing to the two-path nearing the three-eighths pole as Segesta was forced to take up sharply after getting pinched between rivals entering the far turn.
Dynamic Pricing was angled out even wider on the far turn, stuck five-wide as the field hit the top of the lane. Racing to her outside was Excellent Truth, and the pair swept past Kehoe Beach at the sixteenth pole and battled each other to the wire, with Dynamic Pricing earning a three-quarter length victory.
Bred in Ireland by Epona Bloodstock, Dynamic Pricing is out of Shemda, a winning daughter of Dutch Art. Shemda is a half-sister to multiple Graded Stakes winner Shamida (Australia) and to Stakes-placed Shajak (Zarak).
Night Of Thunder is enjoying a banner year, siring three Group winners last weekend alone. Only his sire Dubawi can better his number of Group wins among European stallions in 2025.
