Too Darn Hot on fire on the Rowley Mile as he sires an unrivalled fourth Group winner

Exciting young stallion sires the first two home in G3 Tattersalls Stakes and adds a new winner in France

Too Darn Hot’s first season could hardly be going better and on Thursday 28 September he added an exceptional fourth Group winner to his record when Alyanaabi just beat his paternal half-brother Boiling Point to take the G3 Tattersalls Stakes at Newmarket.

The Shadwell homebred was settled towards the rear of the field under Jim Crowley and enjoyed no luck whatsoever in running, having to switch right inside the final furlong. However, once the gap appeared he could not have been more impressive, galloping all the way to the line and just got up to beat Boiling Point into second place.

Alyanaabi is out of the unraced Kitten’s Joy mare Alyamaama, a half-sister to G1 Guineas and G1 Coronation Stakes winner Ghanaati.

Also on Thursday, Too Darn Hot added a new winner to his record when Letsroll prevailed over 10 furlongs at Le Mans in France.

Too Darn Hot’s tally of four individual Group winners cannot be beaten by any first-season sire – ever – at this stage of the season. They are headed by outstanding G1 winner Fallen Angel.
