Son of Dubawi fights like a tiger

Tiger Tees wins Listed Falvelon Quality at Eagle Farm

Dubawi's son Tiger Tees recorded the fourth Stakes victory of his career with a hard-fought nose victory in the Listed Falvelon Quality over 1200m at Eagle Farm, Australia on 22 February.

Returning after a spell away from the racecourse, Tiger Tees prevailed in a three-way photo finish, with the win taking his career earnings above A$500,000.

Bred by M J Ryan, Tiger Tees is out of the winning Gold Brose mare Parfore and is a half-brother to Stakes winners Super Easy and Our Lukas, as well as Terravista, winner of the G3 Southern Cross Stakes at Rosehill earlier in the day.

Dubawi has now sired seven Stakes winners in 2014 including last Sunday’s HK-G1 Chairman's Sprint Prize winner Lucky Nine and recent G2 winners Prince Bishop and Catkins. He stands at Dalham Hall Stud at a fee of £100,000 October 1st Special Live Foal.
