Second straight Stakes win for Techno Queen

Manduro filly lands Listed Esso-Cup at Hamburg

Four-year-old Manduro filly Techno Queen has been enjoying a fantastic run this year and on 4 July, she recorded her fourth win on the bounce and second consecutive Stakes win, taking the Listed Esso-Cup at Hamburg.

Slowly away, Techno Queen raced at the rear of the field before flying down the home straight to win by a length and a quarter.

She was bred in Ireland by Kildaragh Stud and John Egan. She is out of the multiple winner Tryphanea, herself a half-sister to G1 winner and German 2,000 Guineas hero Turfkonig, plus German 1,000 Guineas winner Tryphosa.

Techno Queen is one of nine Black type performers this year for Manduro, who is also sire of G1 winner Braco Forte and G2-placed Stakes winner True Story.
