Second straight Stakes win for daughter of Dubawi

Nausica Time runs out the convincing winner of the feature race at Dresden

Nausica Time, one of 26 individual Black type winners this year for Dubawi, recorded her second consecutive Stakes win in convincing fashion on 20 November, landing the Listed Grosser Dresdner Herbstpreis, run over 11 furlongs at Dresden in Germany.

Settled just off the pace, the three-year-old filly took up the running once the field entered the home straight and kept to her task well to win by just under two lengths.

She has now won three times – twice at Stakes level – and took a Listed race at Hannover by no fewer than five lengths late last month.

Nausica Time is out of the winning Daylami mare Namat, a half-sister to two Stakes performers and from the family of four-time G1 winner Ibn Bey and Yorkshire Oaks winner Roseate Tern.

Dubawi is also sire this year of four G1 winners and a further 13 Group winners this year, headed by three-time G1 winner Al Kazeem.

Sire of an outstanding 14 per cent Stakes winners to runners – leading all European stallions – his fee for 2014 is £100,000 October 1st Special Live Foal.
