Dubawi's daughter wins her first Stakes race

Fair Dubawi lands the Premio Seregno in Italy

Dubawi's three-year-old filly Fair Dubawi took the step up in class in her stride on Sunday April 6 when landing the Listed Premio Seregno. Run at Milan over just short of a mile, she was a juvenile winner at this course last October and was making her second start of the campaign.

Bred by Az Ag Francesca, Fair Dubawi is the first Stakes winner to be bred out of the Champion Italian mare Fair Nashwan, winner of the G3 Premio Federico Tesio. Fair Nashwan also has a two-year-old filly by Shamardal named Fairdal and a yearling colt by New Approach.

Fair Dubawi becomes her sire's fifth Stakes winner from his 2011 crop after the G2 Rockfel winner Al Thakhira, G1 juvenile Kiyoshi, the ill-fated Horris Hill winner Piping Rock and the unbeaten Night Of Thunder, who is being aimed at the 2,000 Guineas. Dubawi stands at Dalham Hall Stud for a fee of £100,000 alongside his G1-winning son Poet's Voice who stands for £12,000 Oct 1st, SLF.
