Darley open their doors

Haras du Logis to hold open day in January

Haras du Logis will be opening their doors twice in the coming weeks. All stallions can be viewed on January 28 and 29 as well as February 11 and 12, between 10.30am and 4pm. No appointment is necessary.

New to France in 2012, Refuse To Bend (pictured), who will stand this season for €5,000 and is the sire of G1-winning French trained fillies, Sarafina and Wavering and will be available to view, as well as the other five Logis residents; King’s Best, Slickly, Country Reel, Alexandros and Creachadoir.

King’s Best enjoyed a good 2011, siring nine Group horses including the French Group winners Best Dating and Dalarua, while Slickly sired the 124-rated Grand Prix de Paris hero Meandre. Country Reel continues to sire tough, quality performers and has a Stakes winner in all three crops to race. Completing the roster are Creachadoir, whose first crop are yearlings this year, and Alexandros, who covered his first season in 2011.

The Dalham Hall Stud stallions have now returned from their southern hemisphere covering duties and they can be viewed at the open day which will be held on February 2.
