Doubly Motivated

Doubly Motivated had looked a promising type when narrowly beaten on debut at Newmarket at the end of August. A fortnight later, she could scarcely have been more impressive when breaking her maiden at Lingfield on September 12th, quickening away a furlong from home to hack up by eight lengths in the contest over an extended 7f.

The daughter of Iffraaj">Iffraaj hails from the talented family of the leading sires Invincible Spirit and Kodiac, being out of a daughter of a half-sister to their dam Rafha. Doubly Motivated's dam is the winning Motivator mare Chicane, who is a half-sister to the Stakes-winning duo Whazzis and Whazzat. Their three-year-old half-brother High Admiral, by New Approach, also broke his maiden at Newbury in July at only the second time of asking.

Doubly Motivated holds an entry for the G2 Rockfel Stakes later this month.
