Another new winner for Too Darn Hot

Lava Stream strikes at Ayr

Too Darn Hot continues to impress in his fledgling stud career and on Thursday, 12 October he sired his 23rd individual winner through Lava Stream. Making all the running, she had to dig deep to get the better of previous winner Peace Walk (Cracksman), the pair pulling nine-and-a-half lengths clear of the third.

Owned and bred by Geoff & Sandra Turnbull, Lava Stream is the second foal of multiple winner Stream Song (Mastercraftsman), a half-sister to three G1 or G2 winners by Dubawi in Journey, Mimikyu and Indigo Girl.

Amongst Too Darn Hot’s 23 winners are four that have won at Group level. Fallen Angel was the thrilling winner of the G1 Moyglare Stud Stakes, Darnation landed the G2 May Hill, Carolina Reaper won her G3 in Germany and Alyanaabi took the G3 Somerville Tattersall Stakes at Newmarket and heads back there this weekend to contest the G1 Dewhurst.
