Second Stakes victory for daughter of Too Darn Hot

Oversubscribed wins the Forever Together Stakes

Too Darn Hot’s four-year-old filly Oversubscribed landed her second victory at Stakes level when taking the nine-furlong Forever Together Stakes at Aqueduct on Sunday, 23 November.

Settled in midfield on the inside rail, jockey Flavien Prat had to be patient before making his move in the home straight. Oversubscribed picked up well when asked, going on to win cosily by half a length on her first start in over a year.

Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, Oversubscribed was a 420,000gns purchase from Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale. She is out of the Stakes-winning Cape Cross mare Zurigha and hails from the family of G1 winners With You, Call the Wind and We Are.

Too Darn Hot is the sire of 29 Stakes winners worldwide, with four scoring at the highest level. Among them are five-time G1-winning filly Fallen Angel and four-time G1-winning colt Broadsiding.

Too Darn Hot stands at Dalham Hall Stud for a fee of £100,000, Oct 1, SLF.
