Harry Angel continued his great start to the year when his daughter Tiger Bay showed great speed to land the Listed Ellen Chaloner Stakes over six furlongs at Newmarket on Saturday, 3 May.
Settled in mid-division, Tiger Bay travelled strongly through the race and displayed an impressive turn of foot and a tenacious attitude when asked for an effort with two furlongs to run. High class Group winners Frost At Dawn and Vadream filled the places, but neither could catch Tiger Bay, who won cosily by a neck.
She's a FAST filly!

Bred by Haddenham Stud Farm, Tiger Bay is the second foal out of the unraced Rip Van Winkle mare Totally Lost, a half-sister to two-mile Listed scorer Justice Belle.
Harry Angel has made a brilliant start to the year in both hemispheres. His unbeaten son Private Harry recently won the G1 The Galaxy at Rosehill Gardens before a 50% share in the colt sold for $15 million. Harry Angel is also the sire of G1 All Star Mile winner Tom Kitten. Today’s result brings Harry Angel’s tally to 20 individual Stakes winners.
