Raven’s Pass sires another juvenile Stakes winner

Atiam easily lands the Premio Pandolfi in Italy

Raven’s Pass sired his second Italian juvenile Stakes winner of 2017 when his daughter Atiam easily landed the Premio Pandolfi in Rome. Making her third career start and coming into the race on the back of a maiden victory in Milan, she recorded a very easy seven-length triumph in the 1200m contest. She joins her paternal half-sister Fundeghe who won a Listed race in Milan last month.

Bred by Scuderia Incolinx, Atiam is a daughter of the G3-winning juvenile Adamantina (Diktat), who trained on to finish runner-up in the Italian 1,000 Guineas.

Raven’s Pass is also sire this year of three-time Group winner Big Duke in Australia, second yesterday in the G1 Metropolitan Handicap, globetrotting G2 hero Secret Number, French G3 winner Via Ravenna, who was second in the G1 Prix Rothschild last time out, Stakes-winning G2 filly Elas Ruby and Listed scorers Greg Pass, Riven Light and Viscount Barfield.
