Vale Of York’s Invincible Wish makes it a dozen

First-season sire adds another winner to his tally

Vale Of York recorded a new winner on 15 September when his son Invincible Wish posted a convincing victory over seven furlongs at Wolverhampton.

Never far from the pace, he took up the running inside the final furlong and despite hanging left close to home, kept on well to win by a length.

Bred by Cyril Ryan, Invincible Wish is out of the unraced Peintre Celebre mare Moonlight Wish, herself a full sister to G1 Prix Diane Hermes second Millionaia. Their dam Moonlight Dance was the winner of the G1 Prix Saint Alary at three. Moonlight Wish has now produced five winners including Stakes-placed King's Best filly Kerrys Requiem.

Vale Of York is also sire of unbeaten multiple Black type winner Fontanelice. He has five yearlings catalogued in the Goffs Sportsman Sale this autumn, plus a further seven in the Tattersalls October Sale.
