New Stakes winner for Manduro

Barao Da Serra wins Clasico Siphon

Three-year-old Manduro colt Barao Da Serra posted his second win in just three lifetime starts August 8, becoming the newest Stakes winner for sire Manduro in the Clasico Siphon at Cidade Jardim in Brazil. In the one-mile race the favourite Barao Da Serra came from off the pace to take the victory in the final stages.

Bred by Stud Eternamente Rio, Barao Da Serra is out of the winning mare Preservation, a family that traces to Champion Shadeed.

Barao Da Serra is the 12th Black type performer in 2015 for Manduro, whose top runners include G1 winner Braco Forte, Stakes winner and G2-placed True Story, and three Stakes winners in July, among them G2 winner and G1-placed Bonfire, who added the Listed Grafton Cup.
