New Stakes winner for Cape Cross

Cape Magic wins the Premio Conte Felice Scheibler in Italy

French raider Cape Magic, a three-year-old daughter of Cape Cross, landed her biggest career success on Sunday October 26 when landing the Listed Premio Conte Felice Scheibler over 2000m in Rome. A lightly-raced filly, she only made her career debut in July this season when winning at Chantilly.

Bred by B Prendergast and Serpentine Bloodstock, she is a daughter of the Zamindar mare Galley, a close relative of G1-winners Rail Link and Linda's Lad. Galley's current juvenile is an Irish winner by Teofilo named Portage and she also has a filly foal by the same sire this year.

Now the sire of 91 Stakes winners, Cape Cross’ ten winners at the elite level include Sea The Stars, Ouija Board and Seachange.
