More juvenile success for Exceed And Excel
Exceed And Excel, famed for siring classy juveniles, landed another Group winner on Saturday 5 September when his son Rouleau ran out the game winner of the G3 Sirenia Stakes at Kempton. Making his sixth start, he has progressed throughout the season, coming here on the back of placed efforts in the G3 Molecomb Stakes at Gooodwood and the Listed Roses Stakes at York.
Bred by Darley, Rouleau is a half-brother to the G1 Middle Park Stakes winner Amadeus Wolf. His dam, the winning Mark Of Esteem mare Rachelle, also has a yearling colt by New Approach, a colt foal by Exceed And Excel, and has been tested in foal to Raven's Pass this season.
Exceed And Excel has now sired 26 lifetime juvenile Group winners including six that have won a G1 level including Helmet, Outstrip, Guelph and Overreach.
