La Casa Tarifa impresses at Beverley

Daughter of Casamento breaks her maiden in style

First-season sire Casamento sired a new winner on Tuesday 26 July when his daughter La Casa Tarifa easily beat her rivals at Beverley. Held up early behind the leaders in the five furlong contest, she eased out a couple of furlongs from home and running on really well, won going away by five lengths.

Bred by Tony Kilduff, La Casa Tarifa is the second winner bred out of the One Cool Cat mare Cool Tarifa, a juvenile scorer in Ireland.

Casamento, who made a winning debut in August of his two-year-old season before going onto win the G1 Racing Post Trophy, has now sired seven individual winners. La Casa Tarifa is his second in England after the highly-rated Barrington, with three coming in Ireland; Giselle’s Charm, Pandagreen and Noivado and a brace winning in Italy; Silver Casina and Stamp Collecting.
