Improving three-year-old filly Sarinda wins her first Stakes race

Daughter of Dubawi lands the Listed Neue Bult Cup in Germany

Sarinda, a three-year-old daughter of Dubawi, won her first Stakes race on Sunday July 13 when winning the Listed Neue Bult Cup over 2000m at Hannover in impressive fashion. Held up in third early, she travelled sweetly on the bridle and taking up the running turning into the straight, she only had to be nudged out to the line to record a cosy success.

Having only made her first career start in March this season, Sarinda has now won two of her five starts.

Bred by Brook Stud Bloodstock and sold as a foal for 52,000Gns, Sarinda is a half-sister to four other winners including this season's Hong Kong Stakes performer Pleasure Gains and 12-time victor Sham Sheer (both by Cape Cross) and Skytrain, a son of Exceed And Excel who has won eight times.

Dubawi has now sired no fewer than 19 Stakes winners so far this year, including G1 winners Night Of Thunder, Lucky Nine, Prince Bishop and Tiger Tees, as well the G2-winning juvenile Arabian Queen, successful earlier this week in the G2 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket.
