He’s a knockout

Round Two, a son of Teofilo, floors his opponents in the Marble Hill Stakes

Teofilo has a very exciting juvenile on his hands, as his son Round Two remained unbeaten when impressively winning the Listed Marble Hill Stakes at the Curragh. Making his second start after a debut triumph at Naas less than a fortnight ago, he was always going well and only had to be nudged out to record a two length triumph. He will likely next head to Royal Ascot for the G2 Coventry Stakes.

Bred and trained by Jim Bolger, Round Two is the first foal of the winning Kingmambo mare Khazina, who hails from a supreme US family. She is a daughter of the G1 winner Easy Now, with her grandam the US Champion Relaxing, who herself produced the Champion Easy Goer.

Round Two is the eighth Stakes winner Teofilo has sired in 2015, with his four Group winners including star Australian G1 winner Kermadec and Irish winners Flight Risk and Pleascach, both of whom were also trained by Jim Bolger.

Teofilo is standing this current season at a fee of €50,000 Oct 1st, SLF.
