Go Wild in Germany
Shamardal’s superb season continues as Wildpark became his sires’s 22nd Stakes victor of 2015 when landing the Listed Hoppegartener Sommerpreis in Germany. A very consistent performer, Wildpark has now won half of his ten career starts and only on his debut run in 2013 has he been out of the money.
Owned and bred by Gestut Brummerhof, Wildpark is the first foal of the G3-placed juvenile Wildfahrte (Mark Of Esteem) who hails from the top family of German Derby winner Waldpark (Dubawi) and New Approach’s recent Stakes winner Waldnah.
Shamardal’s 22 Stakes winners this year including the world’s best turf miler Able Friend, Singapore G1 winner Dan Excel, with his nine Group winners including Balios, Dariyan, Amaron, Tryster, French Navy and Fintry.
