German Stakes double for Dubawi

Dubawi completed a Stakes double at Hannover when his son Red Dubawi landed his second Group race of the season in the G2 Grosser Preis der VGH over a mile. In only his first season in Germany with trainer Frau E Mader, he has raced three times with today's victory adding to his G3 Badener Meile triumph back in May. Earlier in the card Red Dubawi's paternal half-sister Sarinda was the impressive winner of the Neue Bult Cup.

Bred by Haras des Sablonnets, Red Dubawi is the best runner to date out of Stakes winning mare Maredsous (Homme de Loi).

Red Dubawi is one of 13 Group winners to come from Dubawi's impressive second crop that includes top flight scorers Al Kazeem, Hunter's Light and Waldpark. This season Dubawi has sired 11 Group winners including four at the top level; Night Of Thunder, Lucky Nine, Prince Bishop and Tiger Tees.
