Dubawi strikes again in Germany

Heartily wins her first Stakes at Hannover

Dubawi sired a new Stakes winner on Sunday October 5 when his three-year-old daughter Heartily landed the Grosser Preis der Jungheinrich Gabelstapler at Hannover. Trained as a juvenile in England by Charlie Appleby, she transferred to the French barn of Henri-Alex Pantall as a three-year-old where she has thrived, winning three times with two further Stakes places to add to today's triumph.

Bred by Darley, she is out of the winning Daylami mare Heart's Content, herself a half-sister to two Stakes winners in Desideratum and Poet Laureate. From the top-class family of Fall Aspen, Heart's Content is now based in the US and has a colt foal by Lonhro and is back in foal again to him this season.

Heartily becomes Dubawi's 30th Stakes winner of the season, a total that is 14 clear of his nearest British stallion rival. Amongst the 30 are five top-level victors including 2,000 Guineas hero Night Of Thunder, top sprinter Lucky Nine and recent Canadian winner Sheikhzayedroad.
