Darley stallions provide the 1-2 in Woodbine’s River Memories Stakes

Dubawi’s globetrotting daughter Crowley’s Law earns her first Stakes victory

Globetrotting Crowley’s Law put away a stubborn Notte d’Oro in deep stretch on her way to an easy win in the River Memories Stakes at Woodbine Racecourse.

Crowley’s Law, a daughter of Dubawi, led home a Darley-sired exacta, as Medaglia d’Oro’s Notte d’Oro held on to take second in the eight-furlong turf contest.

Crowley’s Law was bred in England by Middle Park Stud Ltd, and is out of the mare Logic, by Slip Anchor. In addition to Crowley’s Law, Logic is the dam of champion Ecologically Right, and Stakes-placed Rationale.

Dubawi has been enjoying a magnificent year in 2015. After a great start to the season with Hunter’s Light and Prince Bishop in Dubai, he has also sired top French three-year-olds New Bay and Erupt, King George hero Postponed, Juddmonte International Stakes heroine Arabian Queen and Lockinge Stakes winner and new Darley stallion Night Of Thunder.
