Curragh Stakes double for Teofilo

Parish Hall adds to Flight Risk's earlier G3 win in the Alleged Stakes

Teofilo enjoyed a fabulous day at the Curragh on Sunday 19 April when Parish Hall added to Flight Risk's earlier G3 win, landing the Listed Alleged Stakes. Parish Hall led home his paternal half-brother Loch Garman to provide their sire with the exacta. Loch Garman was making his first start sine June 2013, with both runners trained by Jim Bolger.

The admirable Parish Hall has now won five Stakes races including the G1 Dewhurst Stakes, the G3 Meld Stakes last season, and this very race back in 2013.

Bred by Jim Bolger, Parish Hall is out of the Montjeu mare Halla Siamsa, herself a half-sister to Teofilo's G2w Light Heavy. Halla Siamsa has also produced Hall Of Fame, who was placed in the G2 Futurity Stakes as a two-year-old last season, a juvenile filly named Siamsaiocht and a yearling colt, all by Teofilo. She is also currently in foal to him and is due next month.

Teofilo has now sired 16 Stakes horses in 2015 including Australian G1 Doncaster Handicap winner Kermadec, one of seven top-flight winners that also includes Irish Derby hero Trading Leather and Irish St Leger scorer Voleuse de Coeurs.

Teofilo stands this season at a fee of €50,000 Oct 1st, SLF.
