14 G1 winners for Dubawi

Tiger Tees claims G1 The Galaxy at Rosehill

Tiger Tees became the 14th G1 winner for his sire Dubawi on 29 March with a fighting victory in the G1 The Galaxy over 5 ½f at Rosehill.

Already a four-time Stakes winner, Tiger Tees tracked the speed in the early stages before striking the front at the top of the straight. Challenged strongly in the closing stages, the six-year-old fought bravely to win by a half-head.

Bred by M J Ryan, Tiger Tees is out of winning Gold Brose mare Parfore and is a half-brother to Stakes winners Super Easy and Our Lukas, as well as Terravista, a recent winner of the G3 Southern Cross Stakes.

Already the sire of eight Stakes winners in 2014 including another G1 winner in Prince Bishop (who lines up in the Dubai World Cup later today), Dubawi stands at Dalham Hall Stud at a fee of £100,000 alongside his G1-winning son Poet's Voice, who stands at £12,000.
